Natural Resources and Environmental Law

A large portion of Mr. Burron’s practice is devoted to handling complex natural resource and environmental law issues affecting resource development and agricultural production in the state.  For example, Mr. Burron has experience handling cases involving:

• Coalbed methane regulatory and environmental issues
• NEPA, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act
• Water quality, hazardous waste and air quality under state and federal programs
• Legal guidance for permitting and compliance for the NPDES, general permit and permit to construct programs
• Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations
• Defense of notices of violation, administrative and compliance orders issued by the Department of Environmental Quality and the Environmental Protection Agency

Mr. Burron has a longstanding relationship with the regulators in Wyoming and is familiar with the rules and regulations of the agencies, as well as the practical aspects of practicing before Wyoming’s administrative tribunals and the courts of the state.
